Billy Currington, a Georgia native, made his debut on the charts with the hit "Walk A Little Straighter." The lyrics to this song are truly touching, and those who have grown up with alcoholic parents will easily be able to relate to what he is singing. The song starts with a boy who looks up to his father, yet his father was never there. It goes on to say how the father stumbles into the gym on graduation day, and the father doesn't stick around long enough to hear his sons' name called. Towards the end of the song, he says that his father is still the same, but he loves him anyway, and his kids will never
have to say "Walk A Little Straighter." After listening to the whole CD, I really think that Currington would be a great addition to the list of country artists who make it big time. Currington is an amazingly talented singer, and songwriter. - Janelle Landauer
