Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill
Blake Shelton has already released a couple singles from his new album, "Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill." "When Somebody Knows You That Well" and his current single "Some Beach" made everyone anticipate the release of his new album. "Blake Shelton's Barn & Grill" was released on October 26, 2004. "Some Beach" currently sits at the #2 spot on the Radio & Records Country charts. This single is hilarious and the video is even more so. Shelton does well singing both the ballads and the up-tempos, for instance, "The Baby," and "Heavy Liftin'." Blake Shelton brings a diverse selection of
songs to this album so there are songs for everyone. "The Bartender" written by Harley Allan illustrates Shelton at his best vocally and on this album, musically. "Love Gets In The Way" adds Shelton to an elite list of Nashville songwriters co-writing this single with Scott Joyce.
Blake Shelton has had such a long list of hits debuting with his single "Austin" and also having the singles "Ol' Red," "The Baby," "Heavy Liftin'," and "Playboys of the Southwestern World." With the release of this album, I can definitely see that there is a permanent spot in Country Music for Blake Shelton. "Some Beach" will more than likely be sitting at the #1 spot on the charts next week.
