Brian McComas
Brian McComas
Brian McComas released a couple great singles within the past couple years from his debut album. Every single was enjoyable, yet I still didn't have the whole album to review. I finally have his album now after seeing him live in Comstock. The self-titled album, "Brian McComas" is a work of art. Why he hasn't taken off, is so unclear at this point. His self-titled debut was released on Lyric Street Records -the label he was at then but no longer with now. The debut from McComas begins with his huge single, "99.9% Sure (I've Never Been Here Before)." "99.9% Sure" was the big hit for McComas that gave him popularity among everyone. McComas released "Night Disappear With You" as one of his first singles, but the single only had limited success. Nonetheless, this is one of the favorites from the album. "You're In My Head," another single released to radio by McComas, had little success, yet it was another great single. "Baby Let Me Be Your Man" is the sweet, soft ballad that would have been a great single. "I Could Never Love You Enough" was released as a single at some point and it also didn't receive the attention that it deserved. "I Could Never Love You Enough" is the favorite from this album and I can't see why it didn't take off. "Brian McComas" is really a great album, all together. Why Nashville and radio can't see it, is beyond me. - Janelle Landauer
