Katrina Elam is a magnificent debut effort by Elam. There are several "potential" tracks including her debut single "No End In Sight." As previously stated, this is one of the strongest debut singles I have heard this year, possibly from any newcomer. Elam co-wrote 9 out of the 11 tracks. This debut is definitely a high contender alongside Julie Roberts for the best album by a debut female artist this year. Usually for the album picks, there are usually just 3 to 4 favorites. However, on this album, so many of the tracks stand out with so much potential, that I couldn't put limitations on Elam's ability.
