Ricochet hit the music scene back in 1996 with their debut self titled album released on Sony/Columbia Records. They have received #1 hits, top 10 hits, top 20 hits, and certified gold records. "Daddy's Money" stayed at #1 on the Billboard Charts two weeks in a row.
Ricochet has also received many awards including the TOP NEW VOCAL GROUP award at the Academy of Country Music awards in 1996. Also, in 1996 they were the top selling artist at Fan Fair.
Ricochet has picked up a couple new members to form a all new sound. Dwayne Dupuy now plays piano, organ, and doubles the baritone part in the shows. Also, the newest member to Ricochet, Marty Mitchell, plays the drums and doubles the high tenor parts in the show. Members that were already in the band are Heath Wright (lead singer, and lead guitar player), Greg Cook (baritone player, and bass singer),and Shannon Farmer (steel guitar, lap steel, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums and tenor singer)
